My Outreach Work
As the son of a teacher, I have always valued education and the importance of passing it on. I enjoy teaching others through my school's National Honor Society (Stuy ARISTA), my robotics team, and independently. Some of the most meaningful moments in CS for me have come from teaching friends, peers, young children, and even people older than me about coding. I have volunteered extensively for ARISTA and I have independently visited elementary schools on numerous occasions to teach basic code, robotics, math, and more. I am a proud supporter of PS117 The Briarwood School in Queens and I hope to return in the future. My robotics team has also developed a great community name for our outreach. Through my work as well as that of my teammates, we have won the CONNECT award at local, superqualifier, and state level for FTC for numerous years.
