Student at Stuyvesant High School, co-captain of a world-level robotics team, programmer, and passionate traveler.
I'm an 11th-grade student at Stuyvesant High School in NYC with a passion for coding, robotics, history, travel, and much more. My academic journey has been shaped by:
I'm the co-captain of #8721 Mighty Mechanics (a world-level robotics team), a member of my school's National Honor Society chapter (ARISTA), Stuy ARISTA's Web Development team, a ModelUN delegate for my school, a student at Columbia's Science Honors Program, and an active participant in numerous clubs.
In my free time, I teach coding to elementary school students, work on passion projects, participate in competitive coding competitions, and explore my interest in international relations and politics.

My journey with FIRST robotics and the Forest Hills Robotics League started over half a decade ago when I became a member of an FLL (First LEGO League) team. I have remained a member of the FIRST community since and as a high schooler I now participate in FTC (First Tech Challenge).
I am proud to be a member and the co-captain of team #8721 Mighty Mechanics. We're a community-based FTC team based out of Forest Hills, Queens. Over the past decade, the Mighty Mechs have built a strong reputation in the NYC FIRST community.
I first joined the Mighty Mechs at the start of the '23 season and since then I have climbed to the rank of co-captain. Our team prides itself on our community outreach and routinely wins the FTC Connect Award at competitions. In March 2024, we advanced to the World Championships for FTC and competed in Houston with teams from all over the world.
I am the head programmer of my team and I work in Java using the FTC SDK. My work involving our robot's autonomous capabilities has given me significant experience working with Linear Algebra and Calculus. More importantly, my work requires me to have great teamworking skills, and challenges me to problem-solve when things do not work on the first try.

Travelling is an amazing way to experience unique and different cultures around the world and meet new people. I am very grateful that I have had the opportunity to travel extensively with my family since a young age.
When I travel I try to spend time soaking in the local culture and cuisine of wherever I may be, not just the tourist traps. I have visited over 20 countries all over the world. I believe that my experiences in each one has helped to shape me into an open-minded person.
